Sound Sorceresses is a celebration of the value we bring as technical experts and cultural torchcearers. We’re focused on women actively engaged in audio storytelling.
The first edition of Sound Sorceresses was published October 1, 2023 and our second edition went live on January 1, 2024.
The personal theme of health continues, I hope you and yours are staying healthy as we slog our way through this cold & flu season in the northern hemisphere! Unleashing Your Authentic Voice in Podcasting
Mary Chan has, perhaps, more experience than most in working hard to find her authentic voice. It’s because of her lived experience that she “gives women self-confidence with their voice.”
Lauguage has always fascinated me, so one of my absolute favorite lines from Mary’s article is relatively brief:
Language evolves, so let’s progress with it.
As I think about this line, my thoughts are less about language evolution and more about how to embrace the language patterns that were always there (Mary talks about this also).
What’s one way you’ve successfully honored your own voice?
